COVID-19 Response:

The state issues the care that providers are to take related to daycare. These change as threat levels alter. On-going precautions are taken to ensure the safety of my family and those in my care.

Care available for children ages 6 weeks to 4 YEARS.
Children must transition to pre-school at age 4 (give or take a few months)

Rakuten Kobo US

Laughter and Love does not accept non-immunized children.

This is an example of a video collage, which I put together twice weekly for parents.

I primarily record free play, outdoor, & music time, because it's just me.

Children featured may have already transitioned out

"When I think of you, I think how God has ordained for our paths to cross . Maybe I had to go through really bad daycare before to get to you. You have made me a better mom and woman. I have so much love and respect for you as a woman and mom and friend" ~ Roxanne

I do NOT have a waiting list as spaces rarely open. If an opening comes available, this section will be updated immediately.
Spaces do fill quickly.

Max is our daycare dog. He adores the children and the children love him. Having a daycare dog assists in teaching children love, respect, and responsibility towards animals. Max sleeps on his bed during the day, separated from the children; however, he does go out back every two hours. He's been trained to walk by the children, although occasionally they will get licked en route :-).  Just like me, Max is fully state compliant :-)

We also have daycare cats. Indie is elderly, so she spends her day upstairs. Kookie (above) is a young one and has no qualms about spending times downstairs. The children are taught that Kookie is a non-touchable item so that they don't attempt to pull on her tail or do something that might cause her to be afraid of being downstairs.

This daycare protected by security systems.

Because there is always a risk of a frivolous lawsuit or vindictive reporting should a parent be dismissed from my care, my daycare is monitored by a security system. This actually occurred a few years ago by a parent who filed a complaint with the state six months after departing my facility (on good terms) because he had difficulty with the IRS related to a child tax credit and claimed I refused to assist with it. Because he was angry with the IRS, he lashed out at my facility; so, having a security camera assists in debunking false reporting.
