"When I think of you, I think how God has ordained for our paths to cross . Maybe I had to go through really bad daycare before to get to you. You have made me a better mom and woman. I have so much love and respect for you as a woman and mom and friend" ~ Roxanne

We have daycare cats. Indie is elderly, so she spends her day upstairs. Kookie (left) and Ellie (right) have no qualms about spending time downstairs. The children are taught that Kookie & Ellie are non-touchable so that they don't attempt to pull on their tail or do something that might cause them to be afraid of being downstairs.

Infants have their own special schedule based on their needs. Once they get older, they will begin to follow the toddler schedule.
This daycare protected by security cameras.
Because there is always a risk of a frivolous lawsuit or vindictive reporting should a parent be dismissed from my care, my daycare is monitored by security systems. A frivolous reporting occurred years ago (none since), which prompted the need for the cameras. A parent filed a complaint with the state--six months after departing my facility, on good terms--because he had difficulty with the IRS related to a child tax credit and claimed I refused to assist with it. Because he was angry with the IRS, he lashed out at my facility claiming I was abusing children in my care. The state determined, rather quickly, that the accusation was unfounded and vindictive. Either way, I won't take a chance again, so any accusation is met with factual evidence.
